Easter Rally 2014

Penisar Mynydd Caravan Park was pleased to host the Easter Rally for the Cheshire Centre of the Caravan Club. The weather met easter expectations with mostly clear and bright conditions, but with a cool breeze. Forty (40) caravans and/or motorhomes attended the rally.

This is the tenth year in succession that the Cheshire Centre of the Caravan Club has organised a rally at Penisar Mynydd. The Cheshire Centre of the Caravan Club has approximately 1,800 members, and organises over 100 rallies each year, mostly in the Cheshire area, but venturing further afield (including abroad) on public holidays.

Easter Rally

This easter rally was organised by Linda and Tony Smith, and Diane and Alan Vardy. With 40 caravans / motorhomes attending, the rally field at Penisar Mynydd provided an ideal quiet and secure location, while being easily accessable from the main North Wales expressway (the A55). The centre piece of the rally was an events marquee erected in the centre of the field.

The rally hosted a number of organised events including :

  • children sports events
  • bingo
  • horse racing (video)
  • easter bonnet parade
  • evening socials (especially the pie & pea's)
  • breakfasts

rally005Caravan Club - Easter Rally 2014 : the rally enjoyed a spaceous setting with plenty of room for awnings and parking, as well as the large central events marquee.

Another Easter at this North Wales site. Stayed as part of one of the Cheshire Centre Easter Rallies. The site is clean and well maintained, the rally field is well looked after and the owners very helpful.
Thanks for all your help and hopefully see you again next year.
