The location

Penisar Mynydd Caravan Park is a clean and friendly site located in beautiful open countryside of North Wales. The park is close to the many attractions of the North Wales coastline as well as marvellous Snowdonia National Park. You can enjoy pleasant walks in the area, including at Offa’s Dyke. Less than 8 miles away you can visit the peaceful coastal resorts of Rhyl and Prestatyn. Approximately 3 miles away the village of Dyserth features the astounding Dyserth Waterfalls. Rhuddlan Castle and Bodrhyddan Hall are also both within a few minutes’ drive from the park..

Easter Rally at Penisar Mynydd

Another Easter at this North Wales site. Stayed as part of one of the Cheshire Centre Easter Rallies. The site is clean and well maintained, the rally field is well looked after and the owners very helpful.
Thanks for all your help and hopefully see you again next year.

We are and we've stayed at many campsites in the UK and abroad so it's rare for us to be impressed by a site. To summarise Penisa'r Mynydd in a word: immaculate. The site is meticulously maintained. Pitches are hard standing with hook up surrounded by lush manicured lawns. The facilities are spotless and include toilet/shower block, laundry, pot wash should you need it and an indoor rubbish area. At £15 per night for the pitch we didn't mind paying a small fee for use of wifi. Views of open fields from the site and a very friendly owner, Graham. Definitely recommend to those looking for peace, tranquillity and cleanliness.

Superb, Clean & Tidy

Everything about the site, location was superb, site was clean and tidy, facilities where spotless and modern and Graham the boss was a legend, couldn't possibly have made us feel more welcome as a group, top guy, top site.

One of the cleanest camps we have stayed at

If people do not like campsites who allow children on, then they should book sites that are "adults" only or book outside off school holidays, as for us, we quite enjoy the sounds of children playing, it reminds us of when our 4 children were young. otherwise your site is well run, clean, and most of all friendly. who could ask for anything else.

Good location and close enough to the express way for easy access to all parts of Wales. We were never disturbed by any traffic noises. The only sound we heard was a cow moo which was lovely. Showers and toilets were spotless in fact the entire site was very well maintained.

Overall loved this site and most definitely coming back if you'll have us :) Stayed here with my partner from Friday 17th - Sunday 19th March 2017. On first arrival a warm friendly helpful reception, site is very well maintained, good layout, spacious pitches, modern clean toilets/showers/laundry and a clean area to wash dishes all with nice hot running water. Really lovely site and already recommended to family and friends.
